Dark Pink Aventurine heartlock pendant. On an 18 inch sterling silver box chain. This pink aventurine was the darkest out of the lot I received. It’s a beautiful dark red/salmon pink. I took these photos in different lighting, mostly in low light.
Aventurine is a form of quartzite, characterized by its translucency and the presence of platy mineral inclusions that give it a shimmering or glistening effect termed aventurescence, which is caused by trace inclusions of Mica minerals. Without its glitter, it would be a chalcedony. While all pink stones are associated with love, Aventurine is associated with courage and hope.
