Teardrop dark burgundy tourmaline with two tone botanical ring band. Ring band features hand cut brass leaves that are inlayed into 8 g wire by using a heating technique. Brass loves to dive into silver at a certain temperature and I’ve used it to my advantage for a seamless feel. This stone was hard to photograph in low light. It is a dark burgundy/magenta color that is more vibrant in direct sunshine. Kind of a moody stone!

Quick note about brass: as with any metal, brass will patina with wear due to oils in our skin, lotion, soap, water, etc. But in my opinion, oxidation should never be feared! It is meant to be worn and loved. Sterling silver and brass are heirloom metals and can easily be cleaned in seconds! Polishing cloth will come with every order.
