Sterling silver cuff with Picture Jasper! Picture/landscape jasper is a unique variety of earthy toned, microcrystalline quartz known for its stunning natural “landscape” patterns. Reminiscent of rolling hills, forests, desert landscapes, formed from mineral-rich mud over millions of years. This stone was hand cut by a lapidary artist in San Diego!
Cuff was formed from thick 4 gauge half round sterling wire with hand cut line accents. This piece has been “work-hardened” with steel shot to polish and ensure durability, therefore it should not be bent a lot. More info on why below…Size Medium.
Sizing notes: The total circumference length of this cuff is 6.75 inches, 5.5” cuff, 1.25” opening. Fits a medium sized wrist. I have a 6.5 inch wrist and it fits me comfortably. Cuff sizing is a personal preference. I do make the opening larger to make it easier to take on and off. You can synch and shape a cuff to your wrist if needed. Keep in mind the more you bend it, the more you are “work hardening” the crystals in the metal alloy (getting technical on you) by making it more brittle and stressing it to break/snap. This only happens if you are opening and synching it way too much, which is a sizing issue. Note* I’m adding this disclaimer so the wearer is informed of how it should fit so no issues occur or accidental breakages happen. To find wrist size, use a string and wrap it loosely around your wrist, make sure it’s not too tight. Then lay string out with a ruler, that should roughly give you your overall circumference.
