Basalt signet style with Australian Opal. This opal is a doublet and backed with a hard material to make it more durable. Stone changes color in different lighting! It appears more muted in soft light but in the sun it shines! Ring shapes are carved in wax and then individually sand cast in my studio. They all come out slightly different from this process, due to each pour and how the metal settles. Very comfortable tapered fit, sanded meticulously so they are silky soft on your hand. Nice weight to this ring.
